Jonsered 2258, chain won't stay tight????

    Some but not all of my saws, for whatever reason require a 2-step process to tension.

    > Install chain
    > tension chain
    > blip throttle, it magically loosens back up
    > re-tension chain

    My M18 saw is the worst with this, it does it 100% of the time. My MS251 never does this.

    Ours comes loose within a minute or so every time it's retightened. It's not even worth using it because we spend more time tightening the chain then cutting wood.

    That’s what I said only thing it wasn’t my 395 it was my 394
    I won’t say I have a lot of saws more like the right amount
