Cool day here, 68f a little drizzle, thank goodness, we need the rain so bad, whole region is under a full fire ban, it been so hot and dry, I cut 35 lawns every 2 weeks I’m down to 3 per week.
Some weather going thru, mostly to the north of us, but we'll be getting some of it later this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow morning. Somewhere between a half inch to an inch is forecast. Starting off the day nice enough. We haven't had any rain since Aug 01 and that was just 1/4 inch or so. We need this rain.
Cool and rain Tuesday evening into yesterday, some areas have removed their fire bans, but not here in Muskoka, sunny and 55f this morning going up to mid 70’s this afternoon, have a wonderful day everyone!
56 and overcast, and it’s not supposed to get out of the 60s today. We’re still a month away from lighting the stove and I’m almost ready mentally.
Have had a few cooler days (70*'s) interspersed amongst the hot. Got the deck pressure washed and the stain touched up, and the parking pad pressure washed and resealed. Before that, the roof blown off and gutters cleaned and routine moss treated. Now have to fill a small slot in the wood shed and process and stack about a half cord of large Doug Fir rounds. Unfortunately The temps are going back up to mid 90*'s so those firewood tasks will have to wait! Could use one more trailer load of rounds but that is on hold also til it is cooler.
60 here at 7:30a. Been a pleasant couple days temp wise, and it’s to continue. Humidity hasn’t been hateful.
