You do some nice stacking yourself my friend. Well at least you used to. Lucky you don't have to anymore.

Those are some beautifully stacked splits but just curious if any air is able to get to the inside rows?

Rows are spaced a few inches. I first stacked fresh cut bark on BL there 20-21 and it was fine for the following season. All customers were happy. I've been storing barkless there since, but its getting hard to come by the bark on will suffice. One of my barkless customers already bought a cord for this coming burning season. Only issue is getting to the rest of the barkless stacked behind this for the upcoming year. Bark on will go 26-27. Thinking I'll have to cut the end off the racks to load. PITA, but it is what it is in my ever evolving wood storage issue.

Nice looking stacks. I believe you could easily modify the end support racks so you would not have to cut them to remove, but I'm sure you have already thought of this. I have the same issue in one of my wood sheds.

Split all that I cut except the biggest rounds. PU loaded and wood was moved across the street. Heaping face cord. Forgot to take pics as my back was screaming when I left.

It would be, but I'm content with the few cords of locust I got. Ill mention to him to save the slab wood for me when milled.

Yes. Called a Lucas mill. A 10' bar motorized saw. Scroll back in this thread and you can see it right next to where I am working.

Cool, I’m familiar with the mill. So he has a slabber on it, does he use that only or does he sometimes put the swing blade on it?

That would be nice. I know you wouldn't cut anything that was for you.:yes:

Yup, pretty much. I have to ask him now what piles of logs I can mark for my taking. Gotta stock up on bundle wood as I just picked up an eighth account.

Noodled and split the last of the locust there. Moved the splits and pulled the hydro for now. Forgot to take pics again. He has more logs for me if they don't get milled tomorrow.
