Holy cow! Just got quoted $1.95 here, because we fill tanks at four houses (all our family) at the same time and we're frequent customers. Normal summer rate right now is $2.05. I wonder why it's so much cheaper up there?
$4.23 delivered including 2% discount for payment at delivery. We only have a 100# cylinder just for our gas cooktop so we’re not big users. Haven’t filled any 20# cylinders for the gas grill in awhile so don’t know what the price is for those.
I think the last 20# tank I got filled was $18. That was at a different place than I get my bulk from.
Very very little. 4 winters and used only in fall/spring "to get the chill out". Maybe 25 gallons a year so far.
Just called and verified. 1.19 gallon. Krist LP serves about half of the U.P. Most propane around these parts comes into facilities via semi with tanker trailer & is unloaded into a bulk tank (bullet). Then delivered out to customers via a smaller bulk truck. There is a large propane truck terminal in McPherson, KS. I know there other around the country. I am just familiar with that one as I drove by it regularly hauling salt out of the mines in Lyons & Hutchinson.
I don't know why. Just don't go telling anyone as they may get the idea to move here. Maybe it takes the U.P. awhile to "catch up" to the rest of the world? We are really looking forward to indoor plumbing! Usually, the company offering that price requires a minimum 200 gallon order.
Yes same here and our prices our 3 dollars plus a gallon. But semi trucks are roughly 250k and truckers with haz mat are 75k conservatively. Propane is by product of oil drilling so the Dakota oil drillers got a pipeline to Great Lakes to load ships to get to Atlantic makes sense. Prices along that route significantly cheaper
