Last night I cut up the couple of pine logs and the bonus Honey locust log that netted me a couple of rounds.

It took two partial bed loads from my truck as I didn't want to deal with getting the trailer.

    All cut up.

I waited until it cooled off a little and I still sweated out of my t shirt. I finished working at just as daylight was going away. I walked into the house at 8:11 pm, and sunset was at 8:08 pm.

I have some brush to burn. That's all from me and my neighbors Norway maples. I've got a few rounds of Norway maple to split at the time I do these rounds.

I'd like to think that these rounds all split , plus the ash I have already split that needs to get into the shed, will fill that left bay. Somehow I doubt it.

My employees that runs the stump grinder side biz says he's got a customer that has a nice sized sugar maple that the homeowner needs removed.... I'll wait until it cools off a bit, and I'll get a few loops professionally sharpened.

I'm definitely not rushing this nice weather away. There will be plenty of time for wood cutting.
