    To quote Sawdust Man, it's " perfectly miserable". 70/97⁰ with high dewpts either side of 70⁰

    I have a couple of errands to run this morning.

    I ended up cutting to the ground, several clumps of forsythia. They had become unruly. There's more to do, but they can wait until cooler air.

    Morning all. Clear and sunny here this morning. Should be pretty warm this afternoon unless the westerly really picks up.

    Baseball this morning and tonight. Double header for the Blue Jays. Sounds like they will be in the midst of the heat wave back there. It will be a struggle for them.

    Not much else is happening here.

    It was hot. First day of the fair so there was not a lot happening. Good part is there was no crowd! Most are probably waiting for that cooler weather to move in; starting today.

    Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. I wish it was 70° here...92° with high humidity, feels like 107°.
    I was supposed to work OT today, but got woke up yesterday afternoon by a kidney stone on the right side. Went to ER last night, got some meds. It's still moving slowly.
    Didn't realize I had missed a couple days.

    thank you. We are high on a hill on the east side of Vancouver Island. I don't think the tide height changed much here. Where my daughter lives on the west side of the island, it was more of a concern but even then it didn't impact them very much.
    Prayers for those on the Russian coastline who were greatly affected.
