I am thinking there was 3 to 4 tenths slower chains I used for gtg's that wasnt fast enough. Only kept the top 2 for each saw class for alky. Rest were gtg culls I called them. Know what you mean about looking at folks chains. Some would share great info like Wayne Slayton on the small cube saws and Cliff Helsel for the hotsaw chains.
I knew guys in the real racing circuit that had chains down to the hundredths difference in them. They were top notch folks.
hedge here is my 3ci at Murray. Cold start racing is where it is at IMO. Overlook my slow cold starts. I was way slow compared to the top guys. I took twice as long to get to the wood is what I am saying.
I'm guessing we may be racing in wood that some would not want their chain run in... Were you running against a stopwatch?
