On the side of the busiest avenue in your town. 10-15 or so pieces. Been there about 2 months. There's another pile that's a little bigger sitting up to the right.
From the photo it looks like that wood is too far from the curb for me to assume it is out for pickup. I figure if the owner puts it on or near the curb, then the wood is meant to be taken, but otherwise I would leave it, or ask first.
From the looks, I'd agree with Wood Duck. Sometimes takes me more than 2 months to get around to gettin' things picked up, doesn't mean it's not still mine. Go knock on the door......the worst thing is they'd tell ya' to get lost, but you might get lucky.
I really think he pulled it off the grassy shoulder to keep it looking neat and maintainable. I have no desire to pick it up. Scrounging here consists of calling a tree service that will deliver. There are several of other curbside piles around that are rotting away in place.
