I Appreciate the Neighbor

My neighbor across the ridge called this afternoon and said he had some kindling material if I was interested.
I said I’d swing over there in the pickup to get some.
He said he already had it loaded in the trailer and would bring it right over.
The Cedar will certainly be welcome this fire season.
He also said he has some Fir logs he will drop off later for firewood.

Hi run those strips through a chop saw, I get pieces like that from furniture maker. Then store nices in a box

I love the smell of Western red cedar. I've done a few roofs with it and was often seen sniffing the shingles as I installed them.
