Cleared my way into an old trail I hadn’t visited in a few years. Managed to haul out a couple pickup trucks of Doug just because.

Can anyone here tell me what this saw might be worth. Belongs to a guy from works father. Said he hasn't run it in a few years but looks like it's all there and not all beat up. Thanks guys. IMG_20250720_153305.jpg IMG_20250720_153256.jpg

That's going to depend on how bad someone wants that saw. I've seen them sell for $50-$100 not running but complete. Are you thinking about buying it? They are big saws.

Yes, I would really like to buy it. My uncle had one that I couldn't get my hands on when he passed away and it was actually the first saw that I ever ran when I used to help him with his tree biz.

Up north we didn’t see the 925’s. Canadian version was the 922 and it ran the 77cc top-end. I run a lot of old Terry Industries, Homelite saws. They can be had for good prices, but not like 15 years ago. An XL-1/Super Mini, XL-76/130, and 922 can get a lot of work done. Great reed saws from the era and all muscle.

Light workout with one of the 922’s from a few years ago.

First run/cuts after a rebuild on a Super XL-130. The 76/130 are the strongest stock (torque) <60cc reed saws I’ve ever run across.
