Cherry palooza yesterday and today. Only have 6 logs left from the semi truck. Don’t normally process wood here in the shade but all of this cherry will get stacked in bins and moved with the tractor. I also picked up the fan from a neighbor. Much nicer especially on those humid days. And the 3 stacks of oak I mentioned the other day. Each one is between 50’-55’ long.
I'd have one of those huge barn fans out there it was me...they move something like 10-15k cfm https://www.agrisupply.com/belt-driven-barrel-fan/p/84215/
That's some ugly wood for sure, looks like a piece we had several years ago, about 5-6 stems came from the crown.
Beautiful sight... I think Superman has moved up from TN... Jk, Joe. We know you put in an honest days work, my friend...
Those are good, but sometimes the one on the stand has a more concentrated air stream, seems to cool me off better.
Started stacking some of the splits today. Will be curious to see how many cords this was when it’s all in bins. I’m thinking in the 5-6 range.
Had some logs delivered from my main tree company today. Small truck is some older cherry logs, about a cord worth. Big truck is mostly oak with a few silver maple logs in the mix.
