TSC Lancaster, Ohio received 2 truck loads over the weekend. Manager had them priced at 194.50 a ton, picked up 4 ton. That will hold me for the winter. Should be last batch of pellets I buy as I am relocating to St Croix USVI. Two trips with the Dodge, then stacked away in the garage. The old girl did not even know they were there. Yes, I am shipping the Dodge to St Croix. will not give up my truck.
If you had a Dodge you could of put two in the bed and four on the trailer and made one trip..........
I'm envious. Can't get them up here. I'm trying...but I doubt it's going to work out for me this year. I made a newb mistake and didn't buy pellets early...now I'm completely regretting it. Maybe I'll print out this picture of your truck with pellets as a reminder to BUY EARLY next spring/summer season.
I'll see your 4 tons of Somersets(albeit spread out over 2 vehicles). This was today at Lowes in Saugus, MA
Just once I'd like to go to my local Lowes and actually see some of these. Getting tired of them only carrying crap!!
Not sure what they have around you, but we drove all over Danbury area checking for pellets. Nothing at all...except for Danbury Agway that only had crap! I think they were "Satisfaction" brand...never heard of them!
I think Satisfaction and LGs are the same thing aren't they? One of the pellet houses around here sells them as if they are.
Interesting...I didn't know that. I can stop in this week and get the UPC and try and figure it out, if anyone wants the info
Don't go out of your way. Did the bag look like this? http://www.homedepot.ca/product/wood-pellet-fuel-premium-satisfaction-40-lbs/965052
I wish I had a better answer for you - I never saw the bags. Just asked at the front desk and never went into the back/pick-up area. I have to stop in for some lawn stuff this week - I'll snap a picture while I'm there
Sounds good, thanks. If they are indeed the same, then yes - they are produced by LG. I think this is one of the brand names they use primarily in Canada, but you will see some here from time to time too. If the price isn't too bad (< $6) , it's worth picking up a few bags to try. A lot of people really like LGs, they are a decent softwood pellet. I would be very interested to see how you rate them compared to the Somersets.
