With certain countries invading others, many nations helping others kill, and some bombing others; I felt I had to say I'm sick of war. Whatever political view or country you support I have to believe most people are sick of it as well. If it were up to the people to vote whether or not they would like to see their country go to war, I would think there would be no wars. Governments should worry about domestic problems rather than looking abroad. Way too much money is wasted on killing others; never mind the countless family's that are ripped apart and torn from war, or the mental toll that one needs to live with while actively or after serving. That's it, I'm just sick of war.
I don't care how profitable it is and the irony is not lost on me that my paycheck depends on there always being conflict. My kid wants to join the Marine Corps in 4 years. That's his choice. I'm old enough to remember the lies from the early 2000's. I'm tired of the propaganda and hope others are too. I'm already against the next war.
Things seem to be quickening lately, but in reality there is absolutely nothing new under the sun, and I believe this will be so, until it isn’t, all based on God’s timing. I just heard some hopeful news that there is truce in the works between Israel and Iran.
Unfortunately it takes a certain amount of fear to rule, whether it be world, country or family. Some one has to be the adult and lay the rules down, look at all the parents that want to be their kids friends, does not work. The religious wars have been going on a thousand years and should be kept out of.

I too despise war and wish we would never hear of more. However, it appears that we will always have war on earth. After all, it was predicted thousands of years ago.
Something that bothers me about modern war is that those who cause them usually don't fight them. Long ago, those who chose to wage war would lead from the front.
