We've made it to Galax, Va. Stopped for lunch and gas, then northward bound

 

No you will be clear to set up camp on Thursday. Just make sure that you chack in at the lodge and let them know that you're there for the GTG.

 

I hate to say this but there will be no log truck load of logs. It's been to wet for the guy to get them out of the woods.

We do however have a bunch of wood that Scotty dropped off and what I have cut down and gathered.

We made it to Altoona last night about 9:15 or so. Had a hard time finding a hotel room. See everyone soon.

 

Where did you end up? I booked a Days Inn for tomorrow night.

It's the national meeting weekend for the CMA bike club.

 

This is the reason I am coming...Why are all these other knuckleheads going to Altoona??

 

Apple sausage, train tracks, dollar general, stickers, campfires, sleeping with the whippoorwills….

 

I have a sweatshirt and a frozen tundra sleeping bag to survive the expedition across the mason dixon.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn last night. We have the Comfort Suites up the road from Days Inn Thursday-Sunday
