Woke up to a non surprise. Have some dead pines around the yard I’ve never got around to cleaning up. Didn’t want the hassle. Well it’s time I guess. Instead of cutting and burning I once again took the easy way out. Take ‘em to the train station. :)

There were two more next to a garage. Friend parks his new boat in that area and it was gone so might as well keep this process going. Both had a back lean into the garage. Played it safe and used a rope. All went to the train station.

Missing some of the best pics, amazing how fast I can forget to use the camera in my pocket. The last tree is still out there, needs to take a train ride. Then there’s the one left I should have done first. Leans towards my house, bigger, messier but I’m on a roll. Time to get it done.

Pine logs work nice to stack wood on...or anything outdoors that needs to be off the ground.

Waking the neighbors up so early? :picard:Glad they all went down without issue.

If you need a hand taking the last one down lemme know.

    The "train station",eh?

That phrase was used in the Yellowstone series. I take it, you are referring to a dumping area?

Cant think of anything I’d ever want to stack again LOL. I’ve got plenty of stuff that needs to go to the town dump. Been collecting err ahh not disposing of crap way too long.

technically this was the morning prior. Never made a post yesterday. This morning I went back out at 7.00 or so. Can’t get the dog out of bed in the morning :)
She’s down. Seeing as it’s my house I skipped the rope and went with my skill. Amazingly it went where I aimed it LOL. The only worry really is the hinge snapping on dead pine.
Small leaner needed to be pulled out first.

It’s down. I left the stump tall. It’s where I drop my snowplow.

Went back to the other tree first in case the boat returns.

Yes Mike the train station is a dumping ground. It may not be in a county of Wyoming that has no population therefor no jury of my peers but a dumping ground nonetheless. Yellowstone is my favorite program of all time I think.

I know why you waited, pain in the butt to clean up. It’s great to have the option to drag.

Not a fan myself. They’re tall enough to block the winter sun from shining in the windows but they’ll never be tall enough to block the summer sun.

Yes to both. Had plans for chopping it all up and bringing it to the sugar shack. Too much hassle.

This evening I got the last tree out. Not many branches left by the time I got to the destination but that’s ok the woods are full of em.
