So I got my first AGM Battery on a mower and it's pretty small. Would really like a mounted wired in one.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Have always used Deltran (Battery Tender) and have no complaints. Have 3 or 4 of them now. Couple of the small 12v lead acid, one for Lithium and one of the metal housing units. Lithium maintainer is on year two or three of continuos use now.

I'm actually shopping for a solar maintainer for a no electric solution.

I also use the same as RCBS.
I have one on my splitter , ZT mower and the Tractor. Never a battery issue with any of them. Splitter is about 10 years old and mower probably around 7 years and still the original batteries in both , tractor is a little newer but original battery there as well. During the summer when equipment is used, I don't really worry about it but when winter comes around, I just plug them in and leave them on. Living here in New England the seasons are hard on batteries so all things considered I am doing pretty good.

I use the battery tender brand. They work for most battery types. I have a pigtail wired to my Kubota and ZT and they are plugged in year around. My Kubota is a 2011 and still on the original battery.

I have about 3-4 Battery Minder brand. Supposed to have pulse de sulphate mode? Got 13 years out of side by side battery.
The reason I don’t know how many I have is because when you lend them out and they don’t come back, not sure if I Stihl have them…

We use one on a car we store in winter. It has a Duralaat Platinum AGM battery.

Yup, I have a Battery Tender Jr that I move around from machine to machine, especially during the winter.
It was replaced under warranty for me once, but I've had this one a long time now...20 years maybe?

Yep the same as a regular battery tender. Any brand will work. Really.

I too use Battery Tender. I have a multibank unit that a car and motorcycle stay plugged into 24-7, then I got another one that can switch between lead and lithium.

I have a couple of battery tenders. I was just assuming that a special one was desired for AGM batteries.

They would like you to believe that...but IIRC they only time an AGM battery really needs a special charger is if it's real cold, and dead.
If you think about it, the charging system on the mower is nothing special...

Far as I am aware, only lithium should not be paired with standard lead acid units. It's odd that no stores here carry (at the time) the lithium units and I had to order one as prolific as they have become.
