Finally pulled the trigger on Gladiator. Had to fidget with zip codes but I have an order confirmation estimated delivery early July.

HA! Yesterday I learned how to change the first bag in this one and almost posted because I was having trouble lol. There's a lever to tilt one side of the bin out- used the end of a pipe wrench finally to click the stuck lever

Anyway leave it there or use it but don't scrap it, the ones with metal cog wheels and metal chains are 100% better!

Burning is such a good thing for us. We separate burnable and nonburnable garbage. I take 8 cans of nonburnable to the dump once or twice a year. 8 cans is all that fit in my pickup at one time. Garbage pickup is available but the cost is very high. Can you not put a metal mesh grate on the top of the burn barrel to keep floaters from leaving the barrel? Is that the reason you don't want to burn the burnable trash?

A friend's kitchen had one growing up. I don't think it was used much. His mom is the one whom I learned to break down packaging flat (food boxes, etc) before putting in the trash. I think she figured out that was all the compactor really did anyways? Another friend lived in a house with an actual incinerator for a little while. Only one I've ever seen IRL. Still kinda want one.

Garbage man collects the garbage, burnables go to the burn barrel.
