It didn’t even hit 50 here yesterday so we ended up having a couple small fires. White pine with some white birch chunks.

Mid 50s here now but still raining. No fire.

Made a fire yesterday out of some small splits.

Should really make one now also but hope to make a Menards run-once someone else gets vertical.

LP doing its job yet once more.

That should do it for the cooler overnight temps. Looks like they are going to be in the upper 30's lower 40's for lows now. :rootintootin:

LP will be getting it's rest with the warmer overnight temps also. There were only a couple of times I built a fire in the basement wood stove (not the furnace) as the sun warms the house up nice enough by the end of the day.

Let's hope it stays above freezing for a long time. At least until September.

50 and more rain. It’s been an unusually wet spring so far. Two parts of my yard won’t dry out for a month if it stops raining. 68 inside. Might have to start a fire this eve as we’re slated to break a record for all time lowest temp today. Predicting 55. Might need to canoe home.

Yard is a swamp. A very wet and cool wed. Got a fire going after work. A mix of pine and other odds and ends.
Less rain today with warmer temps.

That sure was unexpected! Had some morning showers yesterday; had to cut the dog walk short.
