Customer of mine had some old wood he didn't want. I got the log rack too. These always come in handy. IMG_6543.JPG

Stepson got a call at work today asking if we needed any totes. He asked me and I said sure. About an hour and a half later these were delivered. Stepson did the unloading, or at least helped unload. I can use any or all of them and there’s more available. There’s 2 ricks of 6 totes, for a total of 12. IMG_2136.jpeg
Not sure what is the best part,
    A) they were completely free :p
    B) I didn’t have to lay a finger on them.

    PS: stepson’s name is Rick

All of these tarps were getting thrown out at work so I grabbed a few for top covers. The cab is stuffed full with more too  They’re the fire retardant version from Uline reinforced with woven strings inside. We’ll see how they hold up. At least the price is right.

Interested in hearing how they hold up. Had at least 5000sqft of that stuff stashed on a job. Labor Forman was going to load it all with the Lull after work. One of his lackeys saw it hanging there and put it in the dumpster.

want it to last a long time? Strips of used carpet underneath. I know, more crap laying around. Cardboard may work, maybe a little slipperyer.

Picked this up last Sunday (2 Feb). 20250208_093145.jpg 20250208_093153.jpg Got it clamped down yesterday before heading to my brothers to spend the day with him and mom. Need to move it back a couple of inches, bolt it down and wire up the lights. Debating on some square tube above the mounts so I have something for straps and tie-downs.

How'd you scrounge a brand "new" white Ford? What a beautiful sight! :).

Rumor has it they are the best for hauling firewood!!!:dex: :tree:

Get going and fill it with some rounds! :woodsign: Just be gentle on the tailgate!

Gesh, didn't even dawn on me to say it was the headache rack.:headbang: Most likely it will be equipped with the used lift gate this spring. It does do okay with hauling wood too.

From Saturday. Amazing what lurks that people discard roadside. 16' 2x10 with a chunk missing at one end. 10-12' still good. Looks like its been there a couple years but still very usable to me. May end up in a future log rack build? Love the fact I have ladder racks for long lumber. IMG_7052.JPG

Picked this little step stool up from the dump awhile back. Only thing wrong with it is the latch release handle was broken off. A little ring of #9 wire and it makes a step the perfect height at my woodshed IMG_2402.jpeg IMG_2403.jpeg IMG_2404.jpeg

    Nice find and repair.

When did you roof the shed? Did I miss the update in that thread? Looks great and even greater with wood in it.

Not sure when I “ finished” it. It’s been awhile, now I’m just trying to get it filled.
