Even though it’s May and we are good and past the need for even a small fire, there is just something warm and comforting about that sight. Beautiful!
Done the same myself. Had small stick fire in the insert last evening, doors open watching the "campfire" for an hour or so.
Wouldnt mind that chill here. First couple of slightly humid days here. The only fires will be in the firepit.
Definitely, we haven't lit up in several weeks. This monsoon rain could ease up a bit. We got nasty hail yesterday evening. Leaves and stuff stuck all over our house siding!
I live in Oregon and its been a few chilly nights here lately. I did a 3 hour burn this morning with splitter trash and lodgepole.
