    Great firewood, though not great for lumber. Most in this area that doesn’t go into firewood goes into railroad ties

    I've heard that millers like it for the small knots that add character to a board. The one that we milled ended up warping bad. The guy I cut for PT saved the pin oak logs for buyers. Don't know if he sold last batch as there was a few good sized logs. Ill see him tomorrow and check.

    Yeah, asphalt is no problem. Chain saw can zip right through it. :D
