Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 63°\80° partly cloudy. Not raining this morning, so heading to the woodyard. Going to empty a partial tote of white oak chunks into a couple drums, need the tote for a big pile of green white oak chunks to dry.
Then we will start on cutting some totes of 16" splits.

Heading as far as Charlotte NC today. We're in no rush.

 

13 days ago I seeded a good portion of my back yard. Put down a layer of compost first. It's rained all but 3days since. Guess I planted at the perfect time

 

Morning all. campinspecter is headed to the vets with Shadow. Something is up and she isn't doing well.
I am headed into work.

Different kind of day here.

 

Shadow didn't make it. Her illness was severe and well hidden until the symptoms showed up yesterday afternoon and she went down hill fast.
This was taken at the beginning of our Canada trip last year about this time. She turned 14 on May 3 this year.

 

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know she has kept ya'll company/traveling buddy for a long time. May JESUS give y'all peace and comfort.

 

So sorry to hear it. Cherish her memories.

We drove in rain for most of yesterday. including a sever thunderstorm at the VA/NC border with hail.

Off to see family today.

Glad ya'll made it this far safely. There was 2 really bad wrecks on I-75 earlier this week, both involved semi's.
Keep all eyes open and watching.

Working 7PM-7AM for 3 nights, so hope to get some more oak/hickory mix split into totes, then hope to pick up Godzilla F250 from shop. They said it was a bad spot on the wiring harness after they put a new PCM on it......at least we bought extended warranty on it...

Shop work this morning, then I gotta take my bride to the chiropractor for a tune-up.
We ended up hanging sheetrock yesterday afternoon.....got about 70% of the ceiling up.
