It won't rust but it will corrode.

Exactly! Cause rust is iron oxide. Shouldn't be much iron in aluminum. :sherlock:

Was mostly just messing around though.

Dealing with aluminum corrosion is almost worse than dealing with rust. It was a constant battle on our fire truck and ambulance bodies at work - had to be out in bad weather, lots of dissimilar metals, and constantly wet. Aluminum pickup bodies are harder to repair, and more expensive too, when damaged.

There’s no good answer, but taking care of your stuff and keeping it clean goes a long way!

    Especially if it's a GM.
This sounds like it's a 2015 titan? I'd pass on it because it's a titan.
The graves are really beefy compared to other half tons.
Yes the 15+ alloy fords hold up well. 17+ on the super duty are alloy bodies. I've heard that you can get corrosion on the bolts that mount to the chassis, but I haven't personally seen any issues on any 15+ f150s, mine it any I looked at or friends of mine.
Yes, mine's a 2016. All alloy body. Just turned 100k no issues, super clean, daily driver in Wisconsin.

Yawner 6-7k to replace a turbo, presuming a f150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost? It's way too much. Should be closer to half that. Granted that particular truck has other issues beyond turbos.

Yeah rust is corrosion. Aluminum can corrode, but I've yet to see any issues on any alloy body F series
