That's a productive day! The yard looks good. I like the look of those cutting boards with the alternating dark and light wood. Be sure to snap a pic when they are done.

That's actually only the first step. After going through the planer they will angle cut and glued together in a herringbone pattern. This is one from last years GTG. 091b51f6-42f8-4652-ae1b-2e47c0263a0c.jpg

I haven't seen any hummingbirds yet this year. Maybe cuz it's been cold?

That gives quite the optical illusion. Kind of makes my stomach queasy until my mind can convince it that those aren't stairs. Great piece of work!

Peeling back the layers. Vinyl soffit over plywood, planks behind the plywood. Make no wonder ventilation wasn't so great.

I was glad to get that mess out of the ground. Picture doesn't do it justice.

What was that? I see a stump, chain link fencing? and wire? Whatever it was it put up a fight.
    How's the healing going?

That's exactly what it is, a stump, a stubborn stump, further complicated by fencing and some kind of wire/cable that it had grown through.

It's going to the dump just like that, now I just need to finish taking my old eaves apart on the house and the following jobs should be much easier.
