This stuff has been sitting bucked up and debarked for about a year. Finally got around to splitting it. I'm so loving this new splitter. Gonna try to post some pics.

Thanks man. My grandfather bought it new in 1966. He passed away 11 years ago and my grandmother gave it to me.
We have a small 7 acre farm and it gets used all the time.

Yes it will be perferct for that. It is very dry!

Thanks. First time I've had it behind the tractor. Much easier than moving by hand or with my truck.

I bet. I move my 4x10 trailer around by hand sometimes and it's a pain. How much does your average splitter weigh?

That's a nice Massey! My dad has one like that, maybe a little newer. I have my grandfathers little old Farmall cub, but its still over at my parents house. Can't wait to get that thing home.

    Looking good!

Yeah my wife complained a bit about the time I was spending splitting. I said it has to get done. She says I'm in my own little world when splitting lol.

My uncle had a very similar model/vintage MF I used to drive when I was kid. Good stuff! We burn lots of pine too, usually during the day when my wife can be home to constantly feed.

    Welcome to the forum Noshow74.

Looks like you will fit right in. You even know how to set the splitter to split correctly; vertically!

What area of the country do you live?

    Thanks for the welcome.

I could have picked most of those up but why do it when I can sit on a milk crate lol.

    I live around Athens GA.
