Successful trip for lumber. Can you guys see it in your minds. Almost done. Hahaha. Not really. But excited to be in the woodshop for a great reason. 20250503_172340.jpg

I believe these dates will be more accommodating to Southerners. Hopefully won’t have to buy all the blankets at the DG again. Jeff and Tim also seemed open to going again. Either way I will be there with the FHC sign and a couple saws.

That's great. We're planning on making the trip, too.

Planning on being there, will be solo this year though, talking the fam into a 3rd "firewood vacation" was too much I guess.
Maybe in the next few years the boy will be enough of a food motivated teenager that Scotty's pizza bake will motivate him to come along :D

I am believe there was but not positively sure. I've been up to the club but not up on the trap range where we do the cutting.
I've been up on the mountain cutting and dragging them to a staging area on the mountain close to the road. It's still probably about a 1/2 mile away from the trap range.

Here's a picture of what's left from last year.

Here's what I have staged so far up on the mountain. The picture is deceiving the logs are bigger than they look and are about 30 ft long.

The log truck has been secured but the delivery is up in the air right now. The guy said that it's way to wet right now for him to get to them so he can load them up.
