Thank you Adam, Lina and Peggy for hosting us and for all your hard work as well as the seemingly tireless grill / smoke masters, Kevin and Dewight. As always, it was great to see and visit the friends I've made because of my chainsaw sickness and this forum. I look forward to next year. Have a good night everyone.
What everyone else said, I could not have voiced it better! You did great Adam, thanks for having me. FHC strong in 2025!
A big thanks to Adam, Lena and Pam for all your hard work in making this GTG a huge success!! Kevin and Dwight as always your culinary skills were very much appreciated! We had a great time and it was great to see family again. Adam that grabby chain was a new one and only the teeth were ground, drags were never touched. Saw it when I was cleaning up the saws. Thanks to everyone for not laughing at my pressurized soap bottle or for falling on my arse at the firewood graveyard (notice I never dropped the saw!!). Honestly the first time I've ever cut 12" long logs! Looking forward to the next GTG.
Thank you Adam, Lena and Pam! It was a great time, and it'll be even bigger and better next year! No tents were peed on, thanks Brian! Also, the autonomous lawn tractor that refilled the wood pile for the camp fire was an interesting thing. Also I don't think any camp chairs were destroyed this weekend.
Crazy day......I volunteered myself to spend the day bucking up a probably 4'+ish silver maple. If I keep this up maybe I wouldn't be 400lbs.....
Congrats, Kevin! Gees, will you look at all that hair! He has more on one side than I have on my whole dome!!
Sorry to be a bit late in handing out kudos to Adam, Pam, & Lena (awesome Euchre partner!). It was a Great party! So many good friends & lots of wood to cut, gourmet food a la grilled, smoked, fried, baked, homemade desserts, etc. made for a memorable weekend. And the weather was pretty good but for the heat on Thurs. Sorry, Tim. I got there earlier than you expected! LOL! But you & Brad got even at the card table. Wait til next year! Best to all, Stayner
