    A whole load of manly skivvies mistakenly washed with one red shop towel will all turn a bright pink! No amount of subsequent washing and bleaching will turn them white again! Don't ask me how I know this.

    Thank you Lord for modern air conditioning, we had a swamp cooler unit when I was a youngster. It put out cold air, but it had a "shock hazard" every time you touched it plus the high humidity air would cause mildew thought out the house.
