Free firewood in LA California?

Vandals chainsaw dozens of trees across downtown L.A.

 

Why on Earth would someone do that? Hard to like that one.

 

A person can be pretty sneaky with a battery saw.

 

I know. I used one once at the compost center to cut up some Bradford pear! Not supposed to cut there, but it was busy and I was on the far side. Only a few small cuts!

 

Not to mention that the EPA has just about shutdown the dino fuel burning saws in Cali. anyway.

 

I gotta say....if I were in a border state with Cali I'd probably be 'running rum'. So you're a new timber cutter working in northern Cali....here's your 18" 3hp battery saw. Now go cut down some 42" stems. Have fun!
