Took the winch up to a buddy’s house to pull a couple of small Alder logs out of the hole so he can make firewood out of them.

I’m familiar with the Lewis chainsaw winches, what is that?
What is the powerhead, line pull, and line capacity?

I find these easier to “Pack in”

The front winch is a Warn XD9000i, mounted on a Rugged Ridge Spartan bumper with high clearance ends

The rear winch is a Warn M8000, mounted on a Warn receiver mount. I have heavy cables run to the back, with Anderson connections to power it.
With the 35” tire on the spare carrier, I had to have a bracket made to mount the control box to the side of the carrier, as the M8000, Barely fit under the spare on it’s own, it actually just touches as it is inserted into the hitch receiver, or the tailgate is opened/closed

With my old XJ Cherokee, I used the rear mount, with a Warn HS9500i, but I had the spare tire on a roof rack, not a rear tire carrier, so clearance wasn’t an issue. Unfortunately, I bought, and mounted the XD9000i on the new Jeep, before I realized that there was going to be an unresolvable issue with clearance with the HS9500i. My Nephew bought a 2011 JK Wrangler, and was asking about some Budget Winches, so I told him to wait until he could afford a Good Winch. I gave him the HS9500i as a combination Graduation/Birthday present, and helped him install it. He liked my front bumper so much, that he bought the same one
