I got time to run the 441, 665, and a 6400 earlier. Here's a video from a couple weeks back of the 372 in the same wood as the 441.
The 441 was pretty strong to not even be broke in yet!! Beat the 372! What was done to the 6400? It beat the 665, but not by much.
Well the 6400 and 665 can't be compared against the 441 and 372 times. Because it's a different log (round) where the 372 and 441 were ran through a square cant. That 441 did very well! I am sure you will love it when it returns. Even more so after you get 10 + tanks through it!!
Did anyone else notice the 441's 1 st cut? Started off like a John Deere in a drag race and about 1/3 of the way through it straightened out and picked up a lot more power. Either that or Mike eased up on it a bit but to me it looked like the mTronic making an adjustment and bringing the saw back in tune.
Yeah I was suprised the 441 was ahead of the 372. Different chains on them but should have been close. That was a new chain for the 3 today and a full skip on the 372 the other day. The 6400 is stock. It's the one that psuiewalsh sent for me to put a 7900 top end on.
Yeah it was learning the fuel and altitude I guess. It was way rich for the first half. That's why I made so many cuts.
Another 1.5mm of stroke, 1cc, and a closed port cylinder..... That Dolly don't stand a chance. My money is on the 665 all the way. Don't never say never.By the way a 6400 is readily available at any Dolmar dealer and so are all the parts.
