Working smart not hard today.

 

I could have used a 20" bar today. A converted K095 Oregon speedcut bar might find its way on this saw eventually.

 

I have. I don't have enough tractor. They slid back into their holes when falling. No hole to tip them back into. I have a plan though...

My next plan, if the neighbors track loader can't stand them up, is to put a nearly used up semi chisel chain on and get in the dirt with a saw thats not my 241. One way or another, I'm getting the rest of those two oak logs off the stump.

 

I've put several chains in the dirt cutting stumps. It doesn't hurt them much unless you hit a rock. Then it takes some filing time.

 

I've done it too. I almost did it today. Maybe tomorrow. lol

I don't blame you going after those last two rounds. Good looking wood. Any luck?

 

They are on the back burner as I go after the easier targets. I'll get them eventually.

 

Update....

This was taken long before anything was cut.

 

That oak is laying on several sasafras trees. I did this today with 2 tanks through the XS2511P and 1 tank CS3450.

 

I put the ported Echo CS-310 to work today. All downed trees from that storm are officially cleaned up as of yesterday. Today was taking down trees with severely damaged canopies that will rot and die anyway.

 

It does dry really fast for sure.
