I agree. Cheap chairs aren't worth it for your comfort.

I had to really wrestle with myself when I bought my gaming chair in 2022. I had to replace my 11 year old secretary chair (that was used and free), but it was well worth it.

If you want total adjustability and comfort:

    Aeron Office Chair

But they are spendy. Sometimes you can get a deal on refurbished ones, or find them cheap at auction, or when businesses close down or refresh their furniture.

There's no paperwork or anything to confirm that. I'm going to guess she's 20-30 years old, but I could be wrong.

We've had the old blue one since 2008, and she was far from brand new then. Still lots of potential there.

Looks way older than 30 to me! Hope you get to use them at some point.

Aren't all boats supposed to have a data plate on them?

Maybe things are different in Canada..........until they become the next state, anyway. :picard:

To me it doesn't look comfortable but you have to go with what is comfortable for you.

Unfortunately, price is no guarantee. I used to buy Hon for the office but these days the only difference between a $500 Hon and a $200 Amazon chair is $300. They are all lasting at most two years. If anyone knows a better built brand I'd like to know.

Was riding the SxS yesterday and a stick flipped up, came in through the driver door, and got me directly in the eyeball. Scratched my cornea a little, but not bad. I've been riding stuff in the same woods for 30 years and never had that happen...talk about bad luck...or it was just a matter of time.

Made a scrap yard run on my lunch break. Easy $190. A lot of brass and electric motors helped.

I won't argue you, I don't know enough about factory produced boats to make a real accurate guess.

I'll get the old blue one looking better than ever over the next year. Maybe after that, I'll have the chance to do what I've wanted to for a long time; build a new boat.

Called tech support, she told me to unplug the modem for a few minutes lol. Call back if not better (no cell signal out here so had to hang up to reboot modem). Fingers crossed :)

Thanks guys, I tend to sit indian style or a modified left of right version, I grew up sitting that way a lot and now it helps feet swelling and above the cool floor. Anywho, a flat non countoured seat is great for sitting like I mentioned above. And I'm  over the flat thick cushion :)

Totally agree, I sold Hon for a few decades. Lol WWW was the Amalgama king (that was high end Hon task chair). But we never had them in our home office even at cost...

Did they get bought out by some conglomerate? It's a shame.
