On their facebook page is a video showing their robotic pellet bag stacker. If you look real close, the bags being stacked appear to be Vermonts.

Sure, go back 7-8 years to find that video ;) (yes, I know it was in their videos section). Bagging for Vermont would make sense as they are working with white pine.

It dawned a clear and mild day this morning.
We saddled up the outfit and headed down to the nut plant.
Another 3 yard can full and Still FREE TOO...
All it cost was the gas to run the Burb down and back.....

We will offload tomorrow morning and fill probably 11 barrels
Will still have 6 empty barrels....With luck we can get one more haul in this season.

If the weather stays showery and cool (Starting again Sunday) we will be running one stove.....
Been running the big Whitfield the past few days ....We had a warm spell back a week or so ago....
Got up to 80 F and then crashed back into the upper 40's F and a bit of low 50's F

Getting this lovely weather to make a shell run is great...
Beats having to dodge rain and snow ....And freezing out butt off to unload it....

I still have a few feet of snow at my place up north. Just got power back after 2 weeks. The ice storm did a ton of damage. There's still lots of people without power.

I bought one of the new ecoflows with the <10ms UPS features. Works seamlessly. It's the smaller one and will run my pellet stove for over 2 hours.

Yes it is. The River 3 Plus. I already had a River 2 and Delta 2. What I had learned with them, if I have a LiFePo4 battery hooked up to the Solar/Car charging port, and pull the plug, they will automatically switch over to charge. Since the pellet stove uses about 100w and the car charging option is about 100w it is easy to extend the runtime. All I need to remember is if there is a power outage is to charge the battery. Got the River 3 for $220 and a 1280w battery is about $150(more depending on brand). So for $370 the stove can run for about 14 hours. Without touching it.

I'm just trying to keep up to you and bb! So I bought another Bluetti for the garage. Picked up the AC200L on their easter sale and got a discount on top of it. Couldn't pass on it for the money. Hopefully it runs the air compressor the Pectron did not.

    Due to arrive Tuesday :ups:

If anyone has any options or input on other stoves I'm all ears? What would be your dream stove and why?

I really don't know anything about the xxv besides what I've read. They seem to be solid stoves. The only thing I would worry about going from the Cab to the xxv is I believe the CAB has a much larger hopper - and I don't believe you can get a hopper extension for the xxv. The ash pan may be smaller too. I don't know how hard your current stove is run, but those would be my considerations.

Just note - I am very much a practical gal, looks aren't important to me, functionality and practicality are. I've had almost zero vehicles that I actually liked the looks of, or if I liked the basic shape/lines, the paint color was not to my liking, and some were downright ugly - if that tells you anything).

The P61 is a great versatile stove. It is a bit more efficient than the P43 so even if it doesn't run hard, you ca'nt lose. I thought it was my imagination, but looking at the specs between the too, it is true. My P61 hasn't had to have any parts replaced besides door gaskets in the 11 years I've had it. The hopper extension will make it so the stove can hold about 2.5 bags, and the ash pan is nice and large (which I find important because I run middling pellets).

Weather is supposed to be spiffy today and tomorrow. Wifes got the day off, So outside we go to get some yaad work done. She's starting with her birdies. Getting the bird houses put up and the hummingbird feeders out. I'm going to putz with what's left of the tree that we took down. Cut up the decent stuff for the fire pit and drag the branches over to the burn barrel. Chop em up and if the wind holds off start getting them burned up.

Tomorrow we will start with messing with the lawn and garden details. And maybe drag the grill out for burgers and some dogs!! :D

Hope everyone has a great easter weekend!!

Great info. I don't know much about the other stoves or brands. I only know Harman are good stoves with parts available. Trying to buy for looks and reliability.

My cab has been great over the years. I thought before buying it the large capacity would be great. I didn't know at the time, the stove when being burned hard would need to be shut down every 12 hours and have the cleaning rod pulled. Might as well add pellets and not have a bigger hopper on it. If I could get some of those fancy Douglas fir pellets it would be a different story.

The old cab is staying at my current house that the new owners will be using. The xxv would go in the new house that is being built. I really like the warmth, ambience, and easy use of a pellet stove. Plus it's good to have a back up for heating.

Our weather has been worse than a pogo stick. One day it's decent the next day, not so much. Currently it's cold, wet, and windy. Future weather looks to be more favorable. Come on spring!

    Happy Easter.
