You know the area? We flew over GA. :D I would have waived but the clouds blocked the view. We're staying about 30 miles south.

Do you charge a premium for the custom bags? I'm definitely overpaying for mine!

No. I get plenty of bird feed, cat litter bags and boxes from my own use and a couple friends save them for me. I was given a couple of the mesh pull string bags and IMO they are too weak for firewood chunks. I have some filled with framing lumber scraps and have to handle them gently otherwise they tear.

I did look into using them for bundles but too pricey for me. I figured it out and around .15c to wrap the bundles. No label or handle.

I don't use handles either. I put a business card inside the wrap of every other bundle. Stretch wrap is cheap.

Have you thought about having match books printed with your business details? Will cost more than business cards but will probably hang around with the buyers for longer, and help them to light their fires.

Interesting idea. Match books don't seem to be a thing anymore but definitely useful for starting fires.

It looks like the UPS driver is planning to have a fire this weekend.[IMG]

I pulled a few pallets from one of the stacks and made a platform to place next to the splitter. I rolled some big rounds onto a pallet and set it on the stack. That allowed me to roll rounds to the beam with no lifting. It was a real back saver. Even some really gnarly rounds were pretty easy to move around.[IMG][IMG]

Definitely true. I've only had a few and I don't need more. I got the idea from Sam's Doin Stuff on YouTube. He's definitely a work smarter guy. I'm trying to spend less time noodling because I get lots of big tree service wood. This seems to be pretty efficient.

Customer wanted a smoking wood delivery. He's just starting to do commercial orders. I took 1/6 of a cord - 1/2 cherry and 1/2 hickory. Bone dry and about 3 miles from my house. He was a happy customer.[IMG]
