Working inside today.
We had enough dryness yesterday for Tom and I to go over and screw up the metal pretty thoroughly.

Morning all. Another beautiful day in Paradise here. It was so nice yesterday that the grass was dry enough in the afternoon that I got the lawn mowed. At least the part that Shadow uses. Amazing how one small dog can make a difference in the lawn growth pattern. The new toilet install went well. It has been awhile since we have done much in the way of major building repairs so it was nice that it went smoothly.

Chores today and potluck cooking. The way I am feeling today, I might not make it to church tomorrow. This cold isn't getting any better. I will see how I feel this afternoon.

MikeInMa have fun on your week away. The mulch will be calling your name while you are gone.
Sawdust Man the house is starting to look very nice.
T.Jeff Veal that is a lot of bags. Our school area here has a program called Backpack Buddies. Bags get dropped off at schools every Friday for those children who need support over the weekend. Not as many bags or as big as what you were involved in.

That is a great program. By years end, ya'll probably do more than we do. We only do Spring break and Christmas break.

So-so day on the Cape. 40⁰/46⁰ east wind off the ocean makes for cool temps. Showers today and tomorrow.

We're here with my SIL and a friend of hers. They're here for 3 nights. Lots of card and board games when rain arrives.

Miz Carol will cook breakfast in a bit for us and our son, then we're going to his house and work on the tall front steps. He wants to get moved in this weekend, he ran out of propane at mom's house and doesn't need to buy more.
later this morning, another 7PM-7AM night to work.

He cut that in about 5hrs on Thursday.

 

Where at on the Cape. Worked out there on a few projects when I lived in Wareham. Still talk to the guys from the cabinet shop i worked in from 97-2000.

 

Good afternoon folks. Today is the Pennsylvania trout opening day. Mother nature hates fishermen. Went on a 2 mile walk with the wife when we had a break in the weather. Also spending time at fly tying vise.
