I too have 59 like Bob. Got kinda humid yesterday and just under 80. 74 inside so no fire. Predicting a wet weekend so I won’t be able to try out the new saw yet again. :(

57/70 no fire, rain all night, back yard has puddles with more coming. Rolled the yard and mowed the first time this week. Still have a lot of firewood work to do. Looks like I will have the stove going the beginning of next week.

There have been very few nice days here in 2025 so far. Rain, snow, mega wind, almost no sun.

Will heck. We've gone from 80+ degree days to a high of 45 today. Mother Nature is cruel sometimes. I hadn't had a fire for 2 weeks. Burning hickory and red oak. All this weather is supposed to move out Monday and return to 70 degree days.

My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.

Going to be first night no fire. I’m warm anyway from stacking the pile that fell over last night.

Loading junk to keep the boiler going. Heat from the pipes in crawl space is keeping house warm enough. Lots of flooding in the area, but no tragedies in the region. Our road is around 80 feet higher than the main road, so no worries.

Heading into the 30s overnight, had 65 today. Just getting a load of ash up to temperature and brought in a few arm loads off the patio shed. Looks like it will be burning at least till Wed.
