The 462 and 500 seem to be the most picked up fo most wood duties. On the occasion that I need a saw but cc's don't matter. the 261 or 362 are called upon.

My trusty old Echo 520 with 20" bar has always been my favorite. Since I got cancer, I've sold all my other saws but I'm having a hard time letting go of that old Echo.

I'm so sorry to hear that. What kind of cancer do you have? I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in February. Do you mind if i add you to my prayer list?

592 xpg 28 light bar and 550 18 with 3/8 chain then there is the Homelite 2100s with the 50 for the big stuff and of course the Homelite 1050 with a 30 and the list goes on and on just depends on what I am cutting most of the wood I get is 20 plus inch in diameter up to 48 plus inches (The bigger stuff is preferred I have the machines to handle it ) I find it is easier to buck several really big logs than spend hours with the smaller logs JB

572 XP Maybe tomorrow I’ll try it with a fresh square ground chain. My son bought a grinder on Wednesday. An old second hand Silvey. He swears by square grind chain for west coast falling.

My favorite go-to saw in the Echo XS4910, with 20 " bar, it's light and a beast for a 50cc saw...

For the big stuff, we use Stihl MS461 and 32" bar, also have a 25 & 28" bar for it. 20241016_094642.jpg

I’ve been using the 670 champ more than my other saws lately for firewood duty. I’ll usually grab the 288 for larger falling jobs.
