Down in the 30’s tonight. Just in from throwing a a load of sticks limbs and uglies. Forecast for next several days means the boiler will be burning into April.
Overnight lows are in the 30's this week. If no sun, then a small fire keeps the chill away. Burning red oak. Will probably start transitioning to burning chunks of mixed species.
12 right now but that will drop a bit more before the warm up of almost 50 for today! Ended up getting close to 10" of heavy wet snow. Plowed enough to open up. Yesterday, we had some nice sunshine and 40's so the driveway is once again melting. Parking area (asphalt/concrete) is already bare.

Been in 20's nights and 30 daytime lately. They claim another very short warmup (60 degrees) with rain in a couple days.
Yesterday, 52 overnight and 71 during the day...no fire. Last night 49 and 70 forecast today with wind and thunder showers this evening. No fire. Wife is having a hard time adjusting to no fires in the morning. Colder nights ahead though.

We had a pretty aggressive snow squal blow through earlier today. Almost like soft hail. Just firing up chestnut oak as it’s 66 inside.
