    WTH is this crap?

Yesterday it was mid 50's and as the day went on it got colder.

Then this am, it started snowing. Not a lot, but it's still snowing idk, maybe an inch of snow? It's only sticking on the grass. The roads are wet and are melting it all.

36°/68° in the house, going to light the fire now.

Off to collect the rest of the free rounds of ash I scored off of FBM.

60/70 fire shall be out this evening as we are heading for the 30s. We made it through severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch today. Still windy out and have some wood pile covers to readjust. Wind to calm by morning.

Have a nice load of R.Oak turned down to an idle. 2 mild days and then it cools again.

25 this morning. Fire is started and blower is doing it's job.

Light snow now will disappear by the time we hit the mid 40's today.

Ash and fir in the quadrafire overnight. Just reloaded with honey locust and ash.

Didn't expect it to get this cold overnight, but the wood I selected worked.

This little bit of snow out there on the grassy areas will all melt in a day or 2.

    50*, rain overnight. NO fire.

Haven't checked on the covers of my stacks after the wind frenzy from saturday until last night.

50/70 no fire. Lots of dead wood laying in the yard from yesterday/last nights storms and accompanied wind. Good bit of lightning mixed in there too.

Yes, but parts of SE Wisconsin hit 80 degrees on Thursday. Not even the weather people got the snow totals guessed when remotely close. They said maybe a dusting on the grass. Wrong. The most snow was 6" down in Waterford I believe. We got about 2.5" of snow up further north a bit. That area that got 6" of snow Saturday, hit 80 degrees on Thursday only 2 days previously.

35/75 I've kept a fire all day, just about to feed it for the overnight. Got the wood pile coverings all back in place today and tidied up to start stacking. New air filter on the splitter, changed the oil in the firewood hauler and 2 mowers today.
