Just installed this brace wall. I'll add some extra reinforcements yet, particularly around the far sides, which will require some precision creativity. I'll essentially be cutting the roof off around the top of that pony wall (a short distance behind the power mast), and putting a vertical gable end wall against it. The pyramid roof will then be replaced with a gable roof at (more or less) the same pitch, with the gable end facing toward the truck.

Hustling to get ready for the first barn floor pour this weekend. I have to go out of town the next three days so I need to be basically done tonight. Should be do-able.

First pour is 12 yards, two weeks later going to pour another 18 or so for he rest of the floor and an apron in front of the doors.

Went to dollar general today. Among the things bought were some pepsi/mt dew. Three bottles of them.

Yup, the checker put them each in their own bag. Used just as many bags as if she would have double bagged the soda pop. :picard:

First think my boys ask my wife in the morning- "Have you had your coffee yet?"

I used to have a 12oz cup in the morning and a second in the afternoon. It affected my sleep and really became ineffective. I cut way back. I have a cup in the morning maybe three days a week. I wonder why your body/mind decided it hates coffee? That's interesting

I like the Orange-Pineapple flavor the best. Takes some getting used to though. Black Cherry is decent too. Some people don’t like them at all. But I think it’s healthier than soda.

Doctor said coffee was the first thing I had to stop when I had some prostate problems. I found I didn't miss it much and after a short time I tried to drink some but did not like the taste at all any more. That was over 20 years ago and I don't even like the smell of it now. I think perhaps my stomach problem may have had something to do with it. Now in morning I look forward to some orange juice.
