Just got confirmation on tickets at the Gorge amphitheater in September! Will be the farthest I have traveled for music, New Hampshire to Washington.

I saw them on that tour. Had to be 91/92ish, in Hershey PA. Not a huge fan but I got free tix.

I can't believe I never heard this masterpiece before. After hearing Tom Sawyer probably 47,000 times on the radio I wrote off Rush for good years ago. I'll have to dig deeper now...

Their sound is not my favorite but this one is a deviation from their normal style. I'm glad they decided to do something a little different. The premise and execution are a 10/10 for me. I remember that this song and Enter Sandman were on *heavy rotation on MTV at the same time. I didn't appreciate this song back then and probaby favored Empire over it.

I got infatuated with Subdivisions a couple years back. They're a great band that I never gave much time to over the years. Just one of the ones I never paid much attention to even though they were quite ubiquitous my entire youth. Styx would also fit in that category.

Rush is way high on my list of all time favs. Admittedly I don’t have a lot of their newer stuff.
Wow! That’s surprising to hear. 2112 is epic Rush. I’d say to start with, A Farewell To Kings. The story behind By-Tor and the Snow Dog is funny as well. I pretty much listen to Moving Pictures and earlier. I have some of the newer, it just doesn’t get the play time.

I got bored listening to my playlists so I have my music playing the entire song list in my library by alphabetical order. I've listened to Whitney Houston, Hank Williams, George Strait, The Statler Brothers, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Tim McGraw, Tom T Hall, Corb Lund, Robert Earl Keen, Black Eyed Peas, James Brown, Boyz II Men, Asher Roth and Jack Johnson so far today.

The music at 3:39 *still makes the hair stand on my neck. Let's just say that if something like it would have happened I would not have been surrendering.

LOL!! Yeah... (i can't afford Jed)
