Nice load of Ash and Elm just went in. 1 am.... Talk about getting out of sync on reloading.
We got the stormy weather yesterday. Strong winds (impressive) and some snow.
Cars, trucks and cops all piled up on 2 of our main 4 lanes. Both of these roads were closed at one point yesterday to deal with the carnage!
Soooo glad I need not drive in these weather events.

38/66. Just lit a fire so it wouldn’t be so cold when I get home this evening. Only calling for mid 40’’s today and below freezing tonight.

Our snowfall yesterday is going to melt soon. High of 41F here today.
And long range I see a high of 64F next week.

Storm total was at least 20" of the heavy wet stuff. Yesterday, I busted a hole up to the road. I should have done it once more yesterday evening but that one time sure did help.

It took two hours of plowing and shoveling to clean up this morning. :picard:

Back was feeling it last night already and now I'm walking with that "old man bent over" posture! But, everything is done.

Sun is shining and skies are clear.

It's hell to get old. But, it sure beats the alternative.

Sure does! I've been saying that for years!!! :handshake:

Another thing I've been saying for years (decades) "No matter how bad you think things are, you don't have to look very far to find someone else with more problems than you"

20 this morning. The Ash worked well overnight and now Pine is keeping things warm.

One dog woke me from a nice sleep this morning. He was ready to begin his routine. Both of them fell asleep early last evening. That deep snow is way too much work for them.

37/71 have a fire of ash going. Got enough snow this evening just to cover the grass.

44/71. Full ash clean out. Just lit up chestnut oak with a wax starter and mulberry splitter scrap.
