If I didn't know better I would have swore it was a sunrise but this was the full moon in the morning to the west when I pulled in at work. 20241017_065052.jpg

Haven't seen the sunrise in a number of days. It has been really cloudy or foggy. I doubt the visibility rose above a mile yesterday.

The sunrise from this morning. Today was one of those mornings that a picture couldn't capture the full beauty of the sunrise.

I grew up on a salt pond in RI.
Sunrises have always been a favorite.
Many mornings I was on they bicycle, walking on the beach, or out on the water in a kayak or sailboat of some sort.
My favorite memory was a solo sail on my Dad's Hobie 16, sunrise, almost zero wind (but with a 20+ foot mast I was moving) and my favorite backwoods. I held the tiller with my feet and just basked in the sunrise.

Nice pics everyone. One day I'll have a few more to contribute (wooding at the farm here WILL be at sunrise :)
