I have 40 and light rain/drizzle. Supposed to get to 60 again today. Just starting hovering fires about 7p and letting them go out. Colder temps on the way this weekend.

Yeah winter is pretty much done here. I washed my truck in the driveway with the hose on Tuesday after work. It was almost 50° and it was 52° on Monday. All of the foot or so of snow is gone now except the remnants of snow banks from plows.

37° / 75°. Norway maple, Ash, and birch.

We're only having overnight and early am fires now. No rechooch at lunchtime now.

63* and sunny today and 37* tonight. Felt very springy today. Let the fire go out about noon. House is still very warm as I write this at 6:30PM. Hope I can get to sleep it being so warm. Finished off and painted a 4" rocket stove today then replaced and concreted a rotten post in the woodshed. Tomorrow forecast is same as today so I will begin taking the boat out of mothballs for fishing season!:D:banana:......OOOPS! Forgot! No bananas on the boat!

Nice days ahead but cool nights in the lower thirties. Spent part of the day cutting some short logs laying on a slope. Split some shorts from it and fed the boiler.
It was a warm 36 degrees when i went outside a few minutes ago. Added enough wood to get through the night, but to keep me from being a layabout in the morning

31/77 I light some lumber cutoffs every few hours, run up the temp, and let it go out.

Fresh load of Elm and Ash. Sure had some extreme sustained wind in the last 24 hours (up to 50 mph). That could go away:loco:
