    After this upcoming week with the big thaw (40s-50s) I suspect the skunk cabbage will start poking out of the ground in the swampy areas.

    Me too - although mine aren't as tall as yours

    I'm just hoping it will get warm enough that my roof dumps since I haven't had a clear roof since February 5th with the frequent snowfalls. I'm also hoping I can beat some of the ice off my driveway.

    The early bloomers have arrived! The Hellebores should keep blooming for at least the next six weeks or longer then they continue adding more foliage all summer long into late fall. They are becoming one of our favorites because not much grows good here that the deer don't eat and need very little sun.
