    31/72. 60/40 mix of CO & BL. Had to bring in more oak today so I don’t burn through all the good stuff. The ground was still frozen so no problems doing so.

    Warmer today than it's been in a while.
    Reached mid 40's today. Changed the oil in my wife's car, only notable because I had nearly the cleanest oil change to date. I'll take the win.
    Cleaned the flue today for the first time this burn season; came away with maybe a 1/3 cup for soot all when I opened the clean out and perhaps a similar amount of flakey shiny stuff when the brush got to the last 3 foot section.
    Planning on getting the fire going sometime around 5pm tonight and letting it coast through the night. If the weather predictions are correct I'm unlikely to get another fire going for the rest of the week- temps look more than mild.
