    2/62. Just loaded up with red oak and hickory. You all need to keep this cold stuff up north where it belongs. High today of 11. Low tonight of -10*. Then the world starts to return to normal.

    A few more days of below freezing and this polar vortex can step out the back door and go f itself.

    Ugg, sorry guys, and WOW of OK! I was on the west edge of that but it missed me. 2* this morning and just a couple inches of snow. Slow storm, snowed lightly for for 24 hours. Keep cozy :)

    2 deg out and 59 inside. Red Oak and Cherry in the stove now, almost all wood is gone from the porch woodbox so I have bring more wood up. I need clean up the mailbox snowbank so it can be reached better by Matt the mailman.

    Warming trend here and wet. Lows in the middle upper 40's and highs upper 50's. Wood consumption is way down. Burning small amounts of Doug Fir chunks and uglies and have to remember to let the fire die out early so we can sleep. Been working in the shop building "The Mutha of All Rocket Stoves". Also hope the rain ends as I have to replace a post in the woodshed. Always lots to do!

    Been there buddy. I’ve had big dogs all my life. They are hard on their feet! I’ve seen more torn off pads and claws than I’d care to remember. My dog tore a nail off about a year ago and was in the same boat. That’s why I guessed that. Hope they heal up well:handshake:
