Don't laugh. It is just as accurate as what the weather forecasters have been reporting this winter.

They might not be able to accurately predict the next 24 hours, but rest assured they nailed the 24 year forecast ;)

I bet against the weatherman this weekend and lost....sortof. Me: Surely it cannot rain all weekend. Weather: How about rain from Friday night until Sunday morning with a change to sleet and then snow? :hair:

The river is full right now so the freeze is actually a blessing. If it had kept raining some here would be getting flooded out already.

I bet against them over the weekend and won. Our foot of snow turned into an inch.

We havent had 18" all totaled up for the whole winter!
Edit: this site claims a 2' total, but we are also only a mile from the line where it changes to 1', so I'm thinking we are closer to 1' total for the winter.

My niece and her husband live in a town just southwest of Virginia Beach. Said the town doesn't even own any plows. They will all just stay put until it melts.

They love to hype up the storms several days ahead of time to get good ratings. Then magically right before the event, they downgrade it dramatically. “It went out to sea”…”it changed course”…”it shifted north”……every-time its the same story

Its seems some of the bigger storms show up unpredicted lately. At least 2 snow storms this year for my area.
