Our kitten Charlie can up missing today. When we were are my parents house they told me our neighbors a block to the south had a coyote in their yard this morning, and we let the cat out this morning. I can hear the coyote howling outside right now.

Doesn't sound like there's much of a future for the coyote now.

One of my buddies from Wisconsin told me about his Grandma. Sounded like she was a handful. Every day during deer season before he left to hunt she would tell him "If you see any coyotes, shoot 'em in the guts!"

Hope he comes back safe! If that thing comes in close, hit it with a flashlight and aim between the eyes provided you can shoot safely.

ps, we had two puppies get out and were gone for two nights, they followed hikers down the next morning from an open space near our house. We also had a very small cat gone for one night that came back fine the next day. Keep praying, yotes are likely going after wild animals such as the bunnies that ran our old digs.

Hopefully the lil guy didn't go too far. He was an outdoor cat before, so he can take care of himself pretty good!

Ours was missing for a couple of days a few ago, came back all disheveled. I think the Coyotes scared him and he climbed a tree. I hope you have the same luck.

That is a good example why all three of my cats never are allowed outside. We had a cat for 17 years. He went out one night never to be seen again. He never left our yard. But now we hs e all there wild critters who have moved in. Fishers, coyotes, Eagles, large owls, bob cat, bear sign, etc. nope no way our my cats ever going out. Three kitty boxes to keep up with, but I still have my cats. These are all little himalayans who have no clue about wild things.
